As the re-development of Downtown Kannapolis came into greater focus and the excitement grew this desire to partner on the effort only intensified. Working through Covid and all the challenges during and post Covid that made things challenging for all development efforts, a constant focus on all the positive efforts to re-imagine Downtown Kannapolis and a continued commitment on the part of the now Kannapolis Cannonballers and the Cabarrus Brewing Company is what brought the Towel City Tavern to life for not only Kannapolis but the entire Cabarrus County community as well.

We are first and foremost an entertainment destination featuring a full service Restaurant, Smokehouse, and Production Brewhouse. Cabarrus Brewing produces all draft beers on sight while Towel City Smokes’ smokehouse serves both the Cannon Ballers Private Events and suites, as well as Towel City’s and Cabarrus Brewing’s kitchen.
